Zijn revolutionaire geest leeft verder dankzij Patrícia Relvas en Roberto Afonso die samen het duo Lavoisier vormen. Volgens hun manifest is Lavoisier geen revolutie, maar wel een verantwoordelijke anarchie. Hun muziek omschrijven ze als antropofagisch. Deze muzikale kannibalen verteren dan ook vele invloeden in hun originele mix van Portugese roots met elektrische gitaar.
